Luis Escolano

Engineer at KEO-Connectivity, contributing to the EEBUS protocol — the open standard for energy device interoperability. I focus on the C++ API, its JSON-over-WebSockets surface, and the testing layer that keeps both honest.

Outside of work I learn by building, not by following tutorials — controlled environments don't give me what I need, so when I want to understand something (RL, low-level graphics, a new tool) I dig into it and build my own version. A few of those find real users; most live as public repos that document how I got there.

AI-augmented development is part of that loop, on my own terms — the context-driven workflow I run today predates the shorthand for it.

Selected work and ongoing experiments live in projects.
